We have reserved a restored Huey Helicopter for rides Saturday, September 30th taking off from the National Infantry Museum’s (NIM) parade field. Rides are $75 each person. We are also planning a trip Sunday to Roosevelt’s Little White House and Lunch in Warm Springs, Georgia. There is an additional $15 cost to pay for the box lunch with details listed below.
Cal Gotts is organizing a golf outing at the Fort Benning Golf Club Sunday morning.
Reunion headquarters is the Hampton Inn Fort Benning located 1,000 yards from the museum where double-queen rooms have been blocked at a room rate of $99 plus tax per night, so the per a night total after tax is $121.84. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, laundry facilities, weight room, business center and a light breakfast each morning. We will be on the buses by 8:30 a.m. Friday, Monday and Tuesday.
